PROGRAMS – “Unbelievable” was the phrase heard most often as County officials, volunteers and Casa Pacifica Board members toured the rehabbed and beautifully renovated buildings on 2.5 acres immediately adjacent to Casa Pacifica’s campus in Camarillo. Held earlier this month, the formal "ribbon cutting" and open house showcased the three leased County buildings transformed to serve as transitional living homes and a resource center for former foster youth. more....
EDUCATIONAL NEEDS – Julie was recently admitted to the emergency shelter care program and did not want to go to school. When asked why she replied that she didn't have school supplies or clothes. Julie needs to stay in her home school not only to maintain academic progress but also to continue a sense of normalcy and a familiar routine. School can help Julie stay connected to friends and we know that an education is the greatest hope for her bright, satisfying, productive, happy, successful future.
