ANNOUNCEMENT - Casa Pacifica's CEO Steve Elson, was recently elected President of the California Council of Community Mental Health Agencies (CCCMHA) at their annual fall conference in Santa Rosa.
CCCMHA is an association of nonprofit agencies that provide mental health services under contract with County mental health departments throughout California.
In addition to ongoing advocacy, CCCMHA hosts three conferences a year and works closely with County Mental Health Directors and State officials and the larger stakeholder community to ensure that as the public system grows through the implementation of national healthcare reform and behavioral health parity, there are adequate resources to meet the needs of those with a mental illness.
Elson is also active in other state and national associations focusing on services for children and youth with severe challenges.

EVENT - Casa Pacifica’s 11th Annual Spotlight on Style Fashion Show was a great success!
The annual afternoon of fine dining and high-end fashion was held at the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, CA on Saturday, October 6th, 2012. The event fulfilled its’ promises to provide stunning fashions, boutique shopping and enticing silent auction items to overwhelmingly positive feedback.

PROVIDE GOOD MEMORIES - As you can imagine, Halloween is one of the most celebrated holidays at Casa Pacifica! A costume party is held in Casa Pacifica’s gymnasium each year and the theme for 2012 is "Aliens". Decorated by the Casa Pacifica Angels and Amigos Volunteers and Amgen College Hires Group, the gymnasium is converted into a highly-creative, intricately designed, dark, scary, and surprise-filled haunt!
